Bio

Born and raised in rural Ohio, Aaron Eicher has quite literally been acting ever since he came out of the womb, as he played baby Jesus in a church nativity play. However, the first role Aaron was actually consciously aware of was as a second grader, when he was cast as 'Child #4' in I Never Saw Another Butterfly, a poignant work about children in the concentration camps. From there, he had been bitten by the acting bug--a nigh unstoppable bug, one that could not be fended off by any amount of Raid--and thus has been hungrily seeking out stage roles ever since.

In 4th grade, Aaron was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This diagnosis has had a profound impact on Aaron's life and has shaded his approach to acting as well as the kinds of stories he wants to help tell. In general, Aaron hopes he can give voices to those who are perceived as social 'oddballs' or 'outcasts' in his performances, as well as dispel any common misconceptions about ASD should the possibility arise.

After continuing to drive forward and play various community and school theatre roles, Aaron attended Ohio Wesleyan University, in which he graduated with a BA in Theatre Education. During that time, he received multiple accolades and also had the opportunity to sink his teeth into some truly phenomenal roles. Additionally, Aaron remained active in his hometown's summer theatre during this time.

Upon graduation, Aaron taught 6th-8th grade theatre for a year at East Middle School in Youngstown, Ohio, and helped successfully direct and stage the school's first theatrical production with the assistance of Broadway, film, and television actor and dancer Levensky Smith. Shortly after, Aaron changed gears, finding himself beholden to the acting bug once more.Taking a leap, Aaron moved to NYC in the fall of 2023 and began an internship at The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute. Aaron also had the privilege to take classes at the Institute.

When not acting, Aaron can probably be found drinking iced coffee, listening to Olivia Rodrigo, and watching professional wrestling, as well as constantly seeking out and discovering new ways to further develop his craft. He resides in Brooklyn, NY.
